Interface 6

Description

The Interface Type 6 is a self dialing Interface with door opener contacts suitable for up to 4 door intercoms with one push button, suitable for an analogue extension port.

By using a separate interface, distances of hundreds of meters are possible between the door intercom(s) and interface, regardless of the type of cabling.

The interface is connected to an analogue extension port of a PABX (telephone exchange) or an analogue trunk line and can dial any telephone number.

Specifications

• This interface is easy to install.
• Programming is possible via USB with accompanying PC application, with an analog telephone or by dialing in.
• The Interface can be expanded to program via LAN (Art. no. 30038005 € 120,-), using the same PC application.
• The cabling to the Door Station is 2-wire.
• Up to 4 Door Station with 1 pushbutton, 2 Door Station with 2 pushbuttons each or 1 Door Station with 4 pushbuttons can be connected to 1 interface.
• The interface is equipped with 6 digital text transmitters for, among other things, identification of the Door Station.

• Operation:
• After pressing the push button of a door intercom, the interface dials the programmed telephone number. After answering the call, a talk-listen connection is established.
  During the connection, the called person can activate the door opener contact by pressing a (self-determined) button.
  If there is no answer, the next number will be called, up to a maximum of 8 destinations.
  One can also call to the interface to program it or to make a listen-speak connection to a door intercom. Then it is also possible to activate the door opener contact via the set opener button.
